Account Support Associate

Anthem is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Support Associate to join our vibrant team in Seattle. As an integral member of our customer support division, you will leverage your skills to provide exceptional support to our clients and enhance their overall experience with our company. **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Client Interaction & Support:** - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding account inquiries and issues. - Handle client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency to ensure satisfaction and retention. - Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and enhance their experience with Anthem.

2. **Account Management:** - Assist clients in understanding their accounts, including benefits and features. - Monitor and track client account statuses and make necessary updates. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex client issues, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.

3. **Communication:** - Provide clear and concise information to clients and internal teams through various channels, including email, phone, and chat. - Generate reports and document interactions accurately within the CRM system to monitor account progress and trends. - Facilitate open communication among team members and departments to streamline the client support process.

4. **Problem Solving:** - Identify root causes of client issues and proactively seek solutions to enhance client satisfaction and improve processes. - Develop and implement best practices for account management to increase efficiency and effectiveness in client service. - Collaborate with team leads to address trends and make recommendations for product or service improvements.

5. **Administrative Support:** - Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, account information, and resolutions. - Assist the Account Management team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and preparing presentations.

6. **Training & Development:** - Participate in ongoing training opportunities to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. - Provide feedback to team leadership regarding recurring issues or concerns faced by clients to promote continuous improvement.

**Requirements:**

- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in account management, customer support, or a similar role. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving and conflict resolution. - Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. - A reliable and hardworking attitude, demonstrating commitment to client success and team objectives. - Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate client needs.
